BIONANOSTOP® is a special, environmentally-friendly and chemical-free product (powder), easily applied in water collection tanks and wells. The product eliminates microorganisms in water and ensures long-term water stabilisation and protection (water does not smell, no microbial slime is formed). Water treated with BIONANOSTOP® is of significantly higher quality and increases the stability and durability of the watered crops.

How BIONANOSTOP® works

Our products are manufactured using zero-waste technology.

  • it purifies and stabilises/protects the microbial condition of water in wells and water collection tanks, i.e., prevents the re-propagation of microorganisms
  • the entire cleaning process ensures the destruction of the living biofilm and prevents its re-appearance
  • application is renewed at least once a year, double dosing is necessary in case of higher microbial load of the water
  • its application is simple
  • the product is not a conventional disinfectant – its effects are gradual and the whole stabilisation process takes 7–21 days
  • it settles on the bottom and therefore also treats new water inflows

Application

BIONANOSTOP® is easy to apply. Just pour the powder into a bucket of water and leave it in daylight (ideally in sunny weather) for 60 minutes. Then just pour the water into a barrel, well, tank, etc. You can read the complete instructions for use here.

Most frequently asked questions:

Is it really enough to apply the product only once a year?

In most cases, yes. The application is really simple.

Just pour the entire content into a bucket of water and leave it in daylight (ideally in sunny weather) for 60 minutes. Then just pour the water into a barrel, well, tank, etc. You choose the size of the package according to the volume of water.

Its onset is gradual, ranging from 7 to 21 days.

How do I know if I need to repeat the application more than once a year?

As soon as the water quality starts to deteriorate - the mucus, the smell. Each water is individual.

As a rule, the product acts for a period of time:

  • Well - 12-14 months
  • Stainless steel, glass - 11-12 months
  • Plastic - 8-12 months
  • Ponds - 10-12 months

Note The specified time may vary and is for guidance only. The stability of the water always depends on the quality of the input water.


Where can I use the product?

In all collection tanks such as barrels, sumps, IBS containers, wells, ornamental ponds and cold-plunge barrels.

You can then use the treated water to water crops, plants, lawns, ornamental plants, trees or use it for cold plunges.


Can it be used in an IBS container?

Yes, it is suitable for all types of collection tanks, barrels, etc. Specifically for IBS containers, a new tap needs to be introduced so that it is min. 30 - 40 cm from the bottom (otherwise the product will be gradually drained), the same applies to pumps in tanks or wells (the pump must be at least 40 - 60 cm from the bottom to prevent the product from being drained).

Can it be used in a swimming pool?

The product is not suitable for use in a swimming pool - it settles on the bottom and would get out onto swimwear, skin and hair. When vacuuming the pool, the powder would be sucked out immediately. The same applies to a bathing pond.

Can it also be used for waste water?

Yes, the product can be used on waste water or water from a domestic waste water treatment plant (WWTP) that is intended only for watering ornamental plants, a lawn, etc.


Can it be used in a drilled well?

Application in this case is not possible. It can only be used if the water from the well is directed to a pumping tank where the product can be applied.


Where is BIONANOSTOP® not suitable for use?

The product is not suitable for use in swimming pools, bathing ponds, whirlpools, boreholes.
