Chemical-free swimming pool

The STABFOR® unit is flow-through technology that comprehensively purifies the water throughout the entire pool, transforming it into living, clean, structured and healthy water without chemicals. The STABFOR® LB special unit has been designed for pool water purposes and applications.

Main advantages

Užijte si bazén bez chemie

  • Chemical-free pool - structured water has self-cleaning effects that help to stabilise the pool water.
  • Healthy bathing - thanks to unique technology, the resulting pool water is free of chlorine and chemicals, soft and gentle on the skin, suitable for children, adults and pets. After bathing, the skin feels highly hydrated and appears soft and supple.
  • Positive effect on the human body - after passing through the STABFOR® LB unit, the water becomes highly structured, enriched with free hydrogen and chlorine dioxide, and retains its natural content of minerals and trace elements, including the natural pH value, that is beneficial for the human body.
  • Reduction to complete elimination of the need to replace water in the pool.
  • Long-term stability and durability of the water in the pool.
  • There is no need to monitor the pH value of the water - the structured water has a natural pH and thanks to the processes that take place in the STABFOR® LB unit, algae and bacteria do not multiply in the pool.

The STABFOR® LB unit works on the principle of five core technologies

All technologies work perfectly together. This makes the entire water treatment process non-toxic, environmentally friendly and restores the original structure of glacial water to ordinary water. The invention is the result of more than 30 years of research and testing carried out with respect for the natural principles of water purification found in the wild.

In the video you will find:

Special particles in the ceramic coating of the liner - the particles are firmly anchored on the stainless steel liners. These different types of particle are charged by UV radiation and generate up to trillions of reactions in one second. Such as photocatalytic oxidation, that generates ozone, oxygen, free hydrogen, chlorine dioxide and more.

UV radiation - serves as an energy source for particles and simultaneously eliminates unwanted bacteria.

Vortex technology - with the help of blades placed on the liners, a vortex is generated in the unit, that helps to energise the water.

Precise dimensions of the device - using the principles of the φ - golden ratio, π - the Ludolphine number and other constants (sacred geometry). They ensure optimal flow and retention time of the water inside the device.

Stabilisers - ceramic formations (balls, tubes) with coatings consisting of various types of particle, ensure the final energy treatment of water and its long-term stabilisation in the pool water.

Installation and connection diagram of the pool assembly

Schéma zapojení bazénové sestavy s jednotkou STABFOR®

Fitment of the STABFOR® LB unit is very simple and it can be fitted on both new and existing pool filtration circuit solutions. Depending on the size and use of the pool, we recommend fitting a suitable filter vessel filled with sand or silica glass or zeolite with a fraction of 1 - 2.5 mm. With zeolite, it is necessary to wash thoroughly before first use and remove zeolite dust that could get into the pool and cloud the water, making it a soapy colour. It is also important to select a suitable pump capacity that is sufficient for regular washing of the zeolite filling. Depending on the size and use of the pool, a simple chlorine doser with liquid sodium hypochlorite is fitted in front of the STABFOR® unit, that produces chlorine dioxide after passing through the unit and helps to purify the pool water.

No other devices (e.g. pH doser, etc.) are required. The STABFOR® LB unit is not compatible with salt water - in this case the technology must be replaced with a chlorine doser.

Frequently asked questions:

How does the whole pool assembly work?

Depending on the capacity of the pool, a suitable sand filtration system is fitted filled with sand or silica glass or zeolite of fraction 1-2.5 mm. This filtration filters out mechanical impurities from the water. The advantage of using zeolite is that it has a higher absorption capacity than standard sand and zeolite absorbs substances from water that standard sand does not filter out (e.g. nitrates, iron, manganese, etc.). The disadvantage is the possible turbidity in the pool if the pump for backwashing the zeolite filling is not powerful enough. Next, depending on the capacity and use of the pool, liquid sodium hypochlorite is dosed into the filtration circuit, that then flows with the water into the STABFOR® LB unit. The STABFOR® LB unit exports chlorine (in the form of sodium hypochlorite) into chlorine dioxide, creating highly structured living water, ozone, oxygen, free hydrogen and more. All of these reactions ensure that the resulting pool water is free of chlorine and chemicals. Each solution is individual, depending on the specific needs of the client.

Can I apply chemicals to my pool? For example, to regulate water hardness, iron precipitation, etc.?

As this is a non-chemical water treatment, standard chemicals must not be applied to the pool. These products damage the internal components of the STABFOR® LB unit and significantly reduce the efficiency of the entire technology. Before using any product, the application must be consulted with the seller.

Can I install the unit in a salt-water pool?

The combination of the STABFOR® LB unit with salt water is not possible. In this case, it is necessary to replace the existing brine tank with a standard chlorine doser.

What is the maintenance of the STABFOR® LB unit?

The STABFOR® LB unit is maintenance-free. Once every 12 months of operation, the UV lamp and internal parts (liners and stabilisers) are changed. To winterise the unit, it is necessary to drain the water from the unit and unplug it from the electrical socket. This extends the interval for regular servicing.

Can automation be used to monitor water quality?

For STABFOR® LB technology, it is not possible to use automation to monitor water quality. The sensors evaluate the chlorine content, that is not present in the pool water, and the automatic dosing system doses continuously.

How do I adjust the chlorine (sodium hypochlorite) dosage?

Chlorine dosing must be carried out with the filtration on.

The chlorine dosing must be done with the filtration on and should be divided into several doses (e.g.: 4) smaller doses throughout the day. The specific quantity is individual depending on the size of the pool.

Can I switch off the STABFOR® LB unit if the pool is not in use?

The STABFOR® LB unit must be in operation at all times and must not be switched off no to damage to the UVC lamp.

Is it possible to use the electrical connection of the filtration with the STABFOR® LB unit?

We strongly discourage connecting the filtration and the STABFOR® LB unit electrically, due to the operation of the filter cycles. The STABFOR® LB unit must be in operation at all times, it must not be switched off when the filtration is switched off. Switching off the unit is only possible when the technology is winterised, including draining the water, that must not remain there to extend the life of the replacement parts.

How often does the filter filling need to be washed?

Filtration with sand, zeolite or silica glass filling must be washed at least 1 - 3 times a week depending on the individual load of pool use.

Is mechanical cleaning of the pool necessary?

The pool must be cleaned regularly of mechanical impurities - we recommend an automatic pool vacuum cleaner for the bottom and walls - one of the positive features of structured water is the displacement of impurities on the walls and bottom of the pool.

What is the maximum capacity of the STABFOR® LB unit?

Maximum pool capacity for the use of the STABFOR® LB unit is determined individually depending on the needs of the client. In case of higher pool capacities, more STABFOR® LB units are fitted in parallel connection to increase the volume of treated water.

Can I apply chlorine tablets to my pool?

The use of pool tablets with active chlorine is not compatible with the STABFOR® LB unit.
